#4- A bit bright?

I'm knitting a shawlette but after taking pictures of my progress i'm starting to think I was a bit hasty in my colour choice lol I wanted to do something bright and colourful and I've always loved lime green and pepto pink together so why the frigg not?

I promise it doesn't look this vile in real life, not to me anyway lol I'm calling it kiwi bubblegum, should hopefully have it finished tonight but it's gonna be a bitch to block as it's acrylic :/ I have to de-stash...don't ask.

This could be one of those FO's that never sees the light of day but i'll love it nevertheless!

#3 - The first knitting pattern!

I've just uploaded this to ravelry and as I haven't yet bothered to learn how to make a downloadable pdf for this, i'm writing it here instead :]

Ingredients

9mm circular needles

super chunky yarn or 4 strands DK

weaving needle/yarn needle

Method

Cast on 41 stitches, knit 30 rows stockinette then 10 rows seed stitch.

Bind off loosely, turn inside out and weave in ends. TADA! Finito :]

Instant gratification guaranteed.

#2 - The teeny tiny knitting video

This is amazing...this lady knitted Coraline's jumper amongst other items on the teeniest needles i've EVER seen :O They're size xxs apparently and some needles are equivalent to a strand of hair. Speechless.

#1 : The intro

I thought it was about time I designated a special place for my yarn talk. I have somewhere to randomly rant and discuss makeup, music and everything in between but I wanted to keep my knitting and crafting separate. Maybe throw in some tutorials? Time shall tell :]
